I used this Valentine's Striped Bag pattern from Lion Brand : www.lionbrand.com/pattern...dsBag.html (http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/cctq-twoRedsBag.html)
I lined the inside for more strength with a rose fabric.

nice to see one of these someone made; I had d/l the pattern, but hadn't tried it yet. It's so nice, and good for you with that great looking lining.

Thank you so much everyone for the comments! I lined the purse by hand with fishing line! :D! I had cut a piece of fabric to fit the base of the bag, then sewed a long piece around that. Then I placed it in the bag and folded the top edges down to fit the depth of the bag and attached it (hope that makes sense)!:fluffy

Did you use a chenille yarn, or acrylic? :) :?

Both yarns were acrylic but the burgundy one feels like chenille. I also used two strands of yarn throughout so it's pretty sturdy! I love it!!
