Hey guys,
I'd like to sell some crocheted items, however I don't have the design skills yet to design my own stuff. Does anyone out there know of any patterns that don't have copyright that can be sold? I know Maria Vowell has written crochet e-books with patterns that she allows one to sell at craft shows, etc....... but are there any other patterns out there as well?
Thanks,
Cristy

You can use the patterns at this site to make things to sell. Read the copyright info because there are a few restrictions but Dot is very nice about letting you use her patterns.

a lot of crochet designers may have the copyright to the pattern but many are gracious and will allow you to sell the finished object if you just ask first. so if you see patterns on a "personal" webpage you can always fire off an email to the owner and ask for permission, i have always had great luck with that

Leisure Arts, Annie's attic, Crochet world all allow you to sell items from their books, leaflets. Coats and Clark allow it if you use their yarn. Those alone should give you plenty of items to make!
