I have completed one capelet and have been meaning to post pictures of the same. Here are some pix :bow :

It is great to hear such compliments from all you talented people :ty

It is not thread, it is part wool part acrylic. The picture doesn't capture it, but it has strands of silver in it.

Absolutely beautiful.

Is the pattern from a old Crochet World magazine?
If so, what issue?

I teach crochet to seniors and they would love to make that.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. :)h It was one of the first big crochet projects that I had undertaken and I am pleased with the results. I'll try to post a picture modelling it

I don't think it was a crochet magazine because it had a lot of knitting designs in it too. I'll check up with my mom and let you know which magazine it was in.
