Recently I finished up an afghan my hubby asked me to make for him. He picked out the colors and is quite happy with it.

I also wanted to show off the queen sized afghan I found at the local thrift store. I just love this afghan.

And lastly I found a lovely olive green sweater to frog at the thrift store. It has these little rust colored nubs and is so soft. Frogging it was a breeze, all I had to do was clip and tug one thread in each seam and it came apart. I can't wait to figure out a project to use this yarn on. It hasd no fibre content tags so I will have to do some experimenting to see what it's made of.

P.S. Please ignore the pepto pink wall paint, I haven't gotten around to painting over that hideous color yet. Sonny

Great job on hubby's afghan. What a find at the thrift store. Someone sure put a lot of work in to that queensize ghan. It looks terrific.:bounce

hi thats awesome. your hubby is going to love it. what a ifnd too, that yarn looks yummmmmmy, LOL at the pink walls. my kitchen is like that right now too:mad :mad vicki

The afghan looks very nice! I like the one on the bed, too. I think I've seen that done before as a baby blanket...yellow baby diamonds or something...hmm. Anyway, also love the thrift store sweater yarn find!

You did a great job on your hubby's afghan. I can't believe that someone turned the other one into the thrift! Their loss is definitely your gain.
