I just scored a bunch of LB boucle at the local Dollar Tree.. I bought 3 skeins of 4 different verigated colors.. I was thinking of doing an afgan or something like that. What are good projects for this particular yarn AND what stitches show up well?

Thanks a bunch!!:manyheart

Wow............what a find!!! I've made many scarves and simple beanie hats from this great yarn. Because of the yarn's texture, stitches don't generally show up very well. Go to www.lionbrand.com for lots of great patterns. I'm especially fond of the very simple scarf made w/ LB boucle and fun fur (one strand each held together and crocheted with a Q hook).

Good Luck!

That is a great find. I had a friend whose daughter wanted an afghan made out of the LB Boucle yarn but I respectfully declined because of the amount that would've been required and the fact I just thought it was too scratchy. I did however make some terrific scarves with it and some fun fur and they were much coveted scarves. I agree, check out the Web site for suggested patterns.
