My EACares group that did the afghan for the family of a fallen Marine (http://eacares.blogspot.com/2006/11/its-done_14.html) is starting to work on another project. Using this pattern (file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Delia/My%20Documents/crochet%20patterns/squares/Norma's%20Needle%20Adventures%208%20in.htm) - that I LOVE - we'll be making a baby afghan to donate along with a hat, bib, booties, etc.

We're modifying the pattern colors a bit so that it will look like a big polka-dot blanket. I think it will be cheery.

Here's what the squares will look like (http://eacares.blogspot.com/2006/12/squares-for-baby-afghan.html). :)

The square looks very pretty and I'm sure it will make a nice baby blanket. When I clicked on the "this pattern" link, it didn't work.

Hhm. The link works for me - I'm not sure what the problem is. If you google for "Norma's Needle Adventures (http://normasneedleadventures.blogspot.com/)" you should be able to find it. It's a very fast and simple pattern and I really like it!

The squre is sweet. The link didn't work for me either. If the pattern is on your hard drive (are you Delia?) we can't get to it.

I'm sorry! I don't know why the link isn't working.

I hope this link (http://needleworkadventures.wordpress.com/2006/07/)will work. If you scroll down you will find the pattern. You will also see several variations that Norma (the designer) did.
