I used the Lion Brand pattern I purchased again and then added thin chenille along with the novelty yarn for the mini boa.

Nicely done!

I tried my hand at the free boa pattern using the chenille from LB a while back when it first came out. Made one for my X-SIL. I am thinking that this is inspiring me to try again!

I do mine a bit different than the LB pattern for the thick chenille...I add an extra row of single chain and then they lay must nicer around the neck IMO......I love playing around with stuff.

I used a P hook and the 1200 YPP chenille and the novelty thread yarn combined......it's not as bulky and will go around your coat collar, etc........AND it doesn't make you so awfully warm.....it's more of an accent and a bit of warmth.
