rose doily i made for work

hi here is the doily i finished, it is a pretty cream color, don't know if you can tell that or not, the flash kept getting in the way. let me know what you think:hee :hee :hee vicki

That is SO pretty!! I like how it looks soft and fluffy and not real hard (I also like stiff doilies but I like the way this looks, more gentle like the roses).

What patience you have! I am trying to make some doilies, but all mine are done with size 3 thread. I don't think I have the patience right now to work with size 10.

I know what you mean about keeping it. That is why I have so many of the dolls that I make. I start out making them for birthday gifts and such, but by the time I am done, I want to keep it.

I love this! Where on earth can I get the pattern for this piece? I want to make one for my mom for Christmas, and (need I say?) one for myself! I think it would be lovely stitched onto a velvet pillow...

hi lene, it is a annies attic pattern that i got at joanns,it is called, Dozen and Once Floral doilies, and is on page 22. is called popcorn pineapples. hope that helps. let me know if you can't find it and i will see if the store has anymore. vicki:garden
