I was lucky enough to get an mp3 player for christmas and I just was inspired to make this. I plan to try making a few more in other designs as well.

Ok, taking a look at the cozy right now in front of me and I'd say the cozy is about 4 inches height and length, the width would be maybe at most 1/2-3/4 inch using knit-crosheen and size 7 steel hook. You could vary that a little by changing the hook and/or thread size to be a bit smaller or larger as needed.
The current size fits my Memorex mp3 player and cord perfectly.

I'm still playing with the idea of lining it as well.
