Thanks everyone, there's really more to the whole story, the jar (as told on my blog) was brought home by him because one of the salesmen gave it (full of candy) to the office and they were just gonna throw it out. Him, knowing me, knew I would do something with it So he brought it home.
I filled it with his favorite candy which is called Heartbreakers and is heart shaped jawbreakers (How fitting for VDay lol)from willy wonka which he has searched for every since I have known him, a couple weeks ago I tracked some down online and bought him some.
He really liked it and took it to work with him.
