Well since I'm going to be traveling, my hooks needed a case finally. So I made This Case (http://www.sarahanns.com/crochetworks/case.html) and borrowed Rebecca's (woolandflax) bright idea for a handle on it and I ended up with
Hook Case (http://img24.exs.cx/img24/1140/finishedcase1small2rz.jpg)
and here it is open: Open with hooks (http://img24.exs.cx/img24/8083/finishedcase2small7aq.jpg)
Sorry to make ya'll click to see, haven't figured out how to put ImageShack's clickable thumbnails in here yet lol. Took me forever just to figure out how to post pics at all *g* I'll try to mess with it soon though.

Looks great! I love the fuzzy handle and the button. Looks like a cute little purse. :fluffy
Is that the same yarn you used for the beret?

Heh yep it *is* the beret lol. I finished the thing, it is cute as can be, but just not on *me* lol so I frogged it and turned it into this hook case *g*

Very neat! Congrats on finishing it, I think I have a similar pattern bookmarked somewhere, I might pull it out for a quick finish and a better way to store my hooks!

Colleen,
I used a g or h hook (can't remember) and two strands of wool ease held together. I used This Pattern (http://www.sarahanns.com/crochetworks/case.html) and simply added a handle and some fur trim rather than the flower in the pattern =)
Thanks ya'll =)
Oh, and Dawn, I betcha within days all those hooks will be back in their cups rofl. I'll have to sort them out and put them back in before I leave lol. Then once I'm back here, they'll make their way back to their cups ;) I'm not so fond of picking up after myself, so I try to make it easy on myself heheheh

Love it Marvie. I recently acquired some Brittany wooden hooks in size I through M and want to make a special case for them, perhaps this is the one.
