Thanks everyone!
I did the color fade by doing 2 strands held together. i changed one strand every row. it went this way: pink/pink, pink/orange, orange/orange, orange/yellow, yellow/yellow, yellow/green, green/green, green/blue, blue/blue, blue/purple, purple/purple, purple/pink, repeat. it was a lot of changes but i love the way it turned out!
crochetdiva - I'm a surrogate mom. I just found out last week that I am pregnant. I gave this blanket to my Intended Fathers (the couple who's baby or babies I am carrying) on the day of our embryo transfer (I am a gestational surrogate, meaning that the baby is not genetically mine. My guys had an egg donor and I went through an InVitro Fertilization cycle to get pregnant). Does that answer your questions? I hope so! If not, ask away - I am happy to answer!

Wow, that is awesome of you. I think if I was younger I would do that for someone (as long as it was someone else's eggs) I love being pregnant, and delivery. Good luck! And best wishes!
And the blanket is lovely!!!
