Okay so I have two free form projects already in the works-a toaster cover and throw for my crocheting chair but on the weekend I felt like making a doll so I did. (Images are clickable) (Sorry about the darkness-I didn't realise they were that dark when I was taking them this morning)

Then I decided she needed clothing so I made her a dress:

And here she is from the front:

And the back:

Then I decided she needed a friend so I made her one:

She needs clothing too so I started to make her a dress last night:

And here she is wearing it:

I love love love these dolls and I can't wait to finish the second one's dress.

I think they are adorable and they need names now. Any suggestions?

Those are SO CUTE! I really need to expand from making flat things to going three dimensional and definitely feel inspired to try Freeform!

Great job, Sarah!

Thanks Paulette!
I find free form more relaxing as I don't have to follow instructions-I just crochet what feels and looks right. These dolls were the first stuffed toys I've ever made. The first one is really fat so I learnt from that how to make the body better and you can see how I improved with the second. With the second I also made the body and head as 1 piece whereas I made the head separate on the first.

They still need names though. Anyone got any thought?

Oh yes! I have definently fallen in love with free form-I have so so many patterns that I may never use now because I am so in to free form now.

Great looking dolls (I love the hair) especially for first time free-form projects.

That is so cute! Dressy Bessy dolls!! They could be Dressy Bessy 1 and Dressy Bessy 2. Or they could be Dressy Bessy for the one with dark hair and Dressy Tessy for the one with Blonde hair! I dunno. I think Dressy Bessy is too cute!

Such cute dolls! Not sure on a name of them, not very creative just now! But I think they are just gorgeous :)
