I made this for my sister for Christmas. She has always been a doll lover and for years has ogled one of my old aunt's crocheted bed dolls. I thought I'd give it a try and surprise her with one. I had so much fun doing it! Anyway, she cried tears when she opened it!

That is really pretty. I don't believe I have seen the pattern before on this one. I use to do bed dolls and pillow dolls all the time. Funny thing was it was me as a child who always wanted one and never had, then I learned how to crochet, bought several doll patterns and started making the dolls, almost all ended up being gifts for my mother and of course my daughter, oh yeah and then I had to make 2 dolls for my mother in law, I now have those back since she is in Assisted Living.

I love how they take on a personality when making them. You did a really great job.

My mom would go nuts over that..... Whats the name of it and where can I find it????? I'm sure others would love to know as well cuz its beautiful...

Very pretty and nice crocheting. Sometimes the pattern comes with the doll........maybe this one did.
