My first attempt with thread

I have only croched with yarn thinking that it would be tooo hard to use thread, and i have never done Picot either (daunting thought) then i found a great little pattern for Bigger and Better Star flower bookmarks in the original patterns section of crochetville, and I love it the link used with the pattern is

I loved making this and it has inspired me to have a go at more thread projects!

Great job, I happen to love that bookmark, and have made many. Your's looks as good as any I ever accomplished! Keep at it...I started with about 3 dozens of bookmarks, that's how I learned tension and stuff with thread.
