:pinkHi I'm hopeing that someone will be able to help me I'm looking for a patteren for a Granny Square Afgan but I want one of the one's that is one big granny sqaure not the little one's that you put together.I found one at patteren cen.. but it calls for more then 3 colors and thats all I have (hubby say I have to use it cuz he just got me 26 skeins of it :bheart) Thank you all so much for our time and hagd. :flake

If you found the pattern you're looking for, you could just change the coloring scheme to match what you have. You can play around with the coloring on paper first. I do that all the time when I get ready to make a quilt.

i haven't looked for a pattern, but i bet you could search the "Giant Granny CAL" thread for a link to some.

you can make it with any kind of yarn and the reccommended hook size on the skein.

You can make any afghan in any color or colors you want. You never have to follow what they use.
So pick the one you found, change it to two or three colors or one color and have fun. :)

As the others said, you can use any numbr and combination of colors you like.Here's a site with a pattern for a rectangular granny afghan, if you don't want a square one:
