Hi, I am shivering in Ohio and looking for patterns for a hooded scarf. I'd like to make one for me, and also a more masculine-looking one for my husband. Any ideas?

Thanks to you both! These are both great starting points! Now I just have to see what I can do with them....

There's a pattern for one in December Crochet! magazine (2006)
I recently made this one

in a Boucle yarn

(that's my pc speaker modelling it, lol) though I'd like to get another skein or two to make it a bit longer.

Hi JoAnn - do you have any ideas on how I could make this into an adult size? I'm really fuzzy on the whole "make patterns bigger" concept. :no I need practice, I guess! :yarn :yarn :yarn

The Pixiehood pattern from celtwich that Mermaiden used is a really nice, versatile pattern. Here's one variation of this pattern.
