Can you help me make this hat please??????

Okay I saw this hat that this chick named Jayne Cobb had on in a show called 'Firefly'. The thing is the hat is knitted and it is for a grown up. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can do it in crochet and a size for a My Little Pony? Here is the link I have for the hat:
