hi,,,i was just wondering what the casablanca afghan i keep hearing about is??? i don't recall seeing it......can someone help??? thanks :clap

As I live in Morocco, I feel uniquely qualified to answer here! LOL!!:lol The Casablanca quilt afghan is this

It is so named because it replicates the intricate mosaic tiling that is done here in Moroccan homes!

I said I would never again do one of this type of afghan. I will have to put this on my summer list. It is absolutely beautiful

I would almost do it too. But when I worked on the Nutcracker afghan, I had enough of stitching the squares together. Especially when they are only 2 rounds. It's beautiful though! Someday.

That is such a beautiful pattern...and I love the colors. I hesitate, because I hate to whipstitch, but I may not be able to resist for long! Thanks for sharing!
