I had a lot of yarn leftover from the turtle that I had made for my nephew so I worked a rectangular granny ghan out of it. I plan to give it to my nephew this weekend. He is so excited, he keeps telling his friends at school how is aunt is crocheting him a blankie. I should enjoy his enthusiam now, for I fear he will soon reach the age where he does not think it is cool anymore. Anywho, enjoy.

I really like these colors together. I'm beginning to wonder if I should frog my scrapghan and make it a rectangle granny.

I LIKE that afghan...colors, pattern and way the colors are combined. I am learning how to combine colors from looking at everyone's here.

This turned out beautiful, I love how you trimmed the whole blanket with small stripes! I am thinking of talking my son into this type for his afghan so I can give it a whirl. Congratulations :)

I'm lovin these rectangular granny afghans I'm seeing lately. A nice twist on a square that's a joy to work on. And yes, isn't it nice when they're excited about blankies aunties are making. :))

I've been meaning to tell you how much I fell in love with the turtle and now the blanket, too (I don't see where to leave comments on your blog)- they're both so adorable and the colors are fantastic - you have a great eye for color, Laura! Great Job on BOTH!
