Hi everyone, I'm looking for a pattern for a crocheted hoodie for an adult. I've looked online but I can't find anything that's not for a baby. Please help if you can :)

Have you already checked the www.LionBrand.com (http://www.LionBrand.com) website? I seem to recall a hoodie adult pattern there. I have a copy of it .... somewhere. I think I printed it off a year ago or so. I will check and see if it is still there...

Another place I have seen one, but I don't know how you could get a copy of it...is in the Fall 2006 Better Homes and Gardens "Learn to Crochet" magazine....It was also in the Fall 2005 booklet. Their website is www.bhg.com (http://www.bhg.com). Maybe they could mail you another copy of it, if they have any still in print. They are pretty hard to find, and I haven't attempted to make it yet...good luck!

Hey, it is me again...I just checked out both those websites and can't seem to find a pattern there. Maybe some other crocheters' out there can be of help.

No, I hadn't checked those websites yet--and thanks so much for checking. I'm sure there is something out there somewhere....or maybe I'll have to invent my own :)

There is one in the Better Homes and Gardens crochet books; I've seen it in several different books they put out. It's a blue one.

I'll take a picture of the picture of it and the title (not the pattern, don't worry officials, lol!) so you will know what to look for at the store.

All the books/pamphlets/booklets I've seen it in have many nice and useful patterns in them, and one was only $6.95. I'll have to dig through my book stash tomorrow to get you titles.

December edition of Crochet! mag - "Color Block Hoodie" but it might not be quite what you're looking for,
though there's another in November 2006, with a zipper down the front

Hi Ive made several hoods for my dils , you can make your own pattern by this method, make a chain long enough to go from side of face to middle of your head then you can sc, dc or trc in each until it is long enough to reach the other side of face edge then sew or sl st the long end together then make a chain as long as you want the scarf to be then sc in each st across the hood make another chain same as other side remeber to allow a couple of extra chs to do either sc, dc or tr if you do a dc and 3 chs and so on. make the scarf as wide as you want . finish off you can add fringe if you like. Hope you can under stand thisyou can also add a pretty shell around the face part

OO yes, thank you very much! I have one or two of their magazines---I should get myself the book--let me know what you can find that'd be great!

Hi! Bernat has a pattern for a hooded sweatshirt. Here's the link to the page on their site with a pic of the pattern booklet it's in.
