Got the idea to do this from this site. Good way to use up my old yarn. Just thought I would share.

I love the oldfashionedness of the black contrasting the bright stripes. Kind of a modern twist on the old fashioned granny afghans (like the one on the couch of the "Roseanne" set" This one is going to be beautiful

I agree with Bagpipes. it's very colorful and very good match with black, which is a neutral color!
