WIP Afghan

It is indeed one of my latest projects, but it's still a WIP, so I'm not as much posting a pic of the project but of the situation. I know we have a few cat/animal lovers here so I thought a few of you could appreciate this.

I'm making an afghan for my youngest kidlet and my kitty has claimed it as her own ... I folded it on my bed to go do some other things and came back to find this. I've been chasing her away from it all day; apparently she saw her chance and took advantage. :rotfl

Everytime I see my furbabies laying on my afghans I think of the kitties & puppies in shelters. Starting in April the charity crochet along I will be making my blankets for shelter animals :yes :cloud9

My furbaby used to avoid my youngest at all costs, but every since I made her an afghan for her bed, that is exactly where Buffy is day and night. She does get up when it's time for bed. I guess she doesn't like the afghan enough to have to sleep next to her arch-nemesis. :hee

Oh what a pretty kitty! She has good taste too, that blanket looks pretty good! Not to mention warm =)

I'm constantly fighting my cats for our afghans.... even though there are no less than 5 blankets laying around specifically FOR the cats. Even a small one on the corner of my desk under a lamp! (which is Tux's favorite spot) but the other two can always be found on one of the people blankets :shrug
