I made the shell poncho pattern that chelle posted and as you can tell....

My granddaughters LOVE their new ponchos! I made the green one before I could measure their heads, so it was a little too big. the pink one is just perfect tho.

their big sister needs one now! and their cousins... there's 6 granddaughters in all

Just crochet a tie and run it through the neckline. Then she can pull it a little closer and tie it in a pretty bow.

great idea. I have lots of that yarn left. they were supposed to be just to try out the size, but they loved them and took the ponchos home. good thing those are popular colors!

Oh they came out so nice! I love the green one. The girls really do look happy to have new ponchos.:)) My 4 yr old says "I like it too!"
