So, I decided the sock pattern in the tutorial didn't look hard, and my toes were quite cold, so I started hooking.

I got my cozy toesie tube up to my ankle, and attached the chain what goes around the back.

Herein lies the problem. I've got about four inches to cover on the bottom of my foot, and about one inch from the chain-thingie to the bottom of my heel (so dimensions are 4"wx3"dx1"h). I tried doing like the tutorial said, and had to frog, it got all funky.

*small fly voice* help meeee....

Try, instead of decreasing in each round, decrease ever other round. Or try a few rounds of even crochet before you start decreasing.

Because feet are unique, one often has to play with the recipe until it fits you. Make sure you keep notes on what changes you made so you can make the second sock.:D
