I am considering submitting something to Lion Brand. The want we me include a resume, tearsheets from previous published things and referrences. This would be my first ever submission so how would I do a resume and what kind of referrences, like people I have made things for???

I have tried submitting my work last year to Lion Brand. The only thing they asked for me first, was just to submit my photos. Then they were going to look over the photos....

I haven't been accepted, but to make a resume' I would just write down what you've made for other companies, magazines, and any crochet along projects you may have started.

Lion Brand also asked me if I knew how to knit. Even if it's the simple knit patterns. I didn't at the time, but now I'm teaching myself that.

Just say you've never been published before. They accept things from many first-time designers.
