I'm trying to make my first pair of socks and I already have a question...
I'm using this (http://members.aol.com/Sbaycgoa/patsock.htm) pattern:
And my question is, in the beginning of the directions it says to slip stitch into the bottom bump...
what's the bottom bump?

That phrasing would stump me too... I haven't a clue. It's clear as mud *g* hope someone can answer this for you!

My guess is she means the bottom loop. :D! When you've stitched your chain, you have a 'top' and 'bottom' of the chain where you always work your stitches, yes? I think she means the bottom 'bump' of that starting chain.
