I was shopping this weekend with my mom and sister and we went into a scrapbook store in Frisco called 'Recollections' - I think they are owned by Michaels - but they had a basket of socks they were selling for $15.00 and they were light blue and had a little pink pair of scissors embroidered on the tops and I SWEAR they were made out of polarspun. Me, being bold said ' i'm sure I can crochet those' - what was I thinking!

Anyway - has anyone ever made socks out of polarspun? if so - how did they turn out? I've never tried socks before - but want to try - thanks!

I made a scarf for my daughter out of polarspun and had the toughest time finding my stitches. I think trying to use a small hook to make socks would be difficult, but on the other hand, it's definitely worth a try! They would be so soft! :fluffy

i would think you might have better luck with some wendy peter pan velvet touch yarn.. instead of polar spun.. actually i think its softer and much easier to work with ..
