I finally have the foundation row finished for the first sock. Not hard, just different..and a lot of frogging :frog to get the tension just so- now to the ribbing! The pattern is "ribbed hiker" socks from 'Crocheted Socks' by Rehfeldt & Wood.
Nice clear easy to read instructions..did I pick a pattern that is too hard for a beginner sock maker?
I'm losing the bright daylight, so back to scanning in stuff and working on my chenille poncho.
A row a day socks? :rotfl
