From personal experience, could anyone tell me THE best book/books/publication out there for the novice spinner? I mean someone who has no clue/starting from scratch/no prior experience or knowledge/ME!!
I'd like to start spinning, but I'm not sure where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :sheep

I have to say, I've never spun before, but have all my stuff together to start the the book "Spin It" from Interweave Press seems great. It's not huge, concise, great pictures of how it should look, patterns, etc. It's about $9.00 and seems the easiest to understand, perfect for a beginner. I believe Rebeccav has it and likes it very much (she's not a novice).

Spin Off is a great mag to get some advice from.
I drool over my copies and have gotten some great advice and learned several different techniques.
There are also a few great websites that have on line demos
I Can Spin (http://www.icanspin.com/index.htm) is a great place for demo's. I learned how to spin from the fold and other things by watching the videos
