Okay, is there anyway I can put one of these buttons in my signature on another board I am on? And if so, please explain in detail how to do it as I am computer illiterate.....LOL!

I'm in the process of attempting to build a crochet website and would love to add a button linking to Crochetville. But I wonder, since the site is moving soon....will the code instructions be updated? Or if I use it as is, will visitors that click on it be re-directed to the new site? Thanks for any help.

Hi Elaine!

We are working on updating the FAQ and tips section so it will be correct for the new site when we get it going (hopefully tomorrow!) However, if you want to link to Crochetville now, it is completely safe to use the URL http://crochetville.org/ to link back to as that will be the new address.

Hmm... not sure I can do that one. :scrachin It doesn't translate very well. I'll see what I can do, but no promises. ;)

Hola. I was wondering if there was one place on the forum for all the buttons people have created--like the UFO pledge button, the 63 squares button. Plus, I'm not sure what the links are supposed to be for some of them. For example, the UFO pledge--is there a link to go with the button? :think
Sorry if this isn't the right spot for this question!

http://www.crochetville.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=63 That link is a sub forum about buttons. I can't get the program to make my own so MomaChet was nice enought to make mine for me! :hug

I am going to take a pic of my UFO and link the button to that pic.:photo

That's a good idea, though! There are tons and tons of them and they're scattered over people's blogs, and some are posted here. As far as any CAL buttons, they should be in the individual CAL threads. Linking... you could link either to directly to Crochetville or to the first page of that thread, or sometimes a CAL leader will create a special web page for the CAL.

oh man.... i just knew clicking over here there was going to be a skyline button Heh, sorry about that, Rebecca. I tried to shrink the skyline down to button size, but it looked like nothin'! You could hardly see it! Normally I can work some magic, but I may have to fiddle quite a bit more to get this one to do anything. :sweat
