It's been too hot to spin for the four months. 80 degrees and wool just don't work well together. But today I was able to sit and spin for a couple hours. Had a big box of odds and ends I'm spinning for "practice" and it's turning out beautifully. Can't wait to see the yarn after it's plyed and blocked! :D

i try to get in at least 15 minutes of spin time a day.

The only plying method I know is using a ball winder. I wind the single ply into a center pull ball on the ball winder. Then from there I spin it "backwards" onto a bobbin. Then onto a swift to make into a skein to be blocked with hot water and dried with weights. I know it's possible to ply to bobbins together from the Lazy Kate, but I've never done it. :D
