I know this probably sounds crazy, but does anybody know where I could find a tutorial on how to add skirts to the bottom of sweaters. :think

Something that might get to be a little twirly? I would also like to do it on halter and tank tops. My DD likes to wear dresses over her pants and shorts. I like shell and granny type patterns, but am unsure as where to look?
Thanks!

This might help you:

Just make the top part as long as you want, then make the bottom part long or short.

Thanks a bunch, I know I have the perfect fabric to go with my favorite girly yarn. Yes, I admit it, my fabric stash is even worse than my yarn stash.
I would like to try to crochet skirts onto her tops, I think that would be beautiful. The ones I have seen in stores have some really beautifil stitch patterns, but I just can't figure out how to start them.

Thanks a bunch for sending those links, I had no idea that was out there. I was actually talking about crocheting the tops and bottoms together. That is why I love this forum so much. I a learning more and more each day from you folks. This is so cool!
Thanks again!
