I found a lovely pattern that I want to do, but there is a mistake in the 5th round. I have tried and tried to figure out how to correct it, but have been unlucky so far. My question is this: Would I be breaking any kind of copyright rule or message board rule if I typed the instructions to rounds 1 through 6 in a message to see if any of you could help me out?

:cheer Post away.
Make sure you post up to the row where you are having a problem.
Also add details as to what you are making.
Have fun.

:yay:cheer:jumpyay:wooI am so proud of myself. I figured out the mistake in the pattern all by myself. This is a huge accomplishment as this is my first doily. I have never made anything other than granny squares, afghans that were just all hdc or dc, etc., and the occasional shell stitch. As long as it was flat and square, I would do it. After reading many posts, learning about other people's problems, and then seeing some of the amazing work you all turn out, I finally have the gumption to try new things. I just love this message board and all of my Crochetville friends. I am sure that I will need help sometime and I know just where to come to ask. Have a wonderful weekend all. Happy crocheting!

This happened to me once and it was so annoying! :angry Designers should make absolutely sure that the pattern is correct before publishing the pattern! The pattern typing should be double checked too before it is published.
Well, off of my soap box now! I had to somewhat redo 2 rounds of the place mat pattern that I was working on and it came out looking like it should. The first time I made the place mat I followed the pattern to a T and the last round looked lopsided.
