I am worried about joining this bb, as I think my signature comes with me. Not sure how to turn it :( off for this site. .. so testing.
Is this too big ......... or distracting???

Hi Pufflet! Welcome to Crochetville! :D!
Your signature is really cute! :p This is a really active board, we average over 200 posts each day and as a result we try to keep things relatively streamlined. I'm not saying you shouldn't use the signature here, but perhaps only use it once per page (as best you can remember). It's really hard to skim through messages with large signatures attached sometimes.
You can turn off the signature by un-checking the box that says "Include custom signature." underneath the window where you would compose your post. If you needed to edit it back out, to the left where your username shows up for each of your posts, there is a button that says edit and you could click that to uncheck the box.
In the meantime, dive in and start posting, we love to talk yarn!

Oh, my gosh, that is cute! :)h But I'm with Julie, try to keep it turned off most of the time ~ occasionally is fine, although I'm not going to run after you with a tally card keeping track. :p
It's always a difficult decision as to what is too much and what isn't, but we've found most of our members appreciate being able to read through threads easily without too much distraction. :)) Welcome to Crochetville! :welcome
