That is sweet, reminds me of Cupcake's teapot cozy......perhaps you can fiddle with that pattern a bit to get the desired size and shape of the petals..............

I have the book with this hat in it. it is called Too Cute Crochet for Babies & Toddlers: A Whimsical Collection of Hats, Scarves, Mittens & Booties (Paperback) They have it on Amazon for as low as $7.50 plus shipping. I think it is well worrth it, for there are lots of really cute things in it.

Every site I've been on only shows the cowboy that is featured on the front cover. Now I know about the rose hat, but I'd like to get an idea about what else is included.
