Any one have a pattern for a paw print

I'm looking for a paw print to make squares for an afghan. :yay . I have tried to do one on my own but am missing it by a bit. I have been crocheting for years but have never tried to make up my own. Thanks in advance.

Yes, a dog paw print that isn't a graph or I guess it could be just the paw print part of the graph and then I could just granny square around that

I have googled every way I could think of to get it to come up without any luck. I will continue to look.

Have you thought about drawing it out on a peice of graph paper and then taking the pattern from there?

I think doing the granny square around it would make an awesome border!

I just googled for a graph and will try that and see how it goes. I should be able to granny around it!

I don't know how big you want the paw to be.... but you could do granny daughters and make the paw that way. but not sure the project you are doing, so not sure if that is practical.

Jadny05, I thought of the little granny squares but I was looking to just make squares of paw prints.
I have paw prints of the dogs that we've owned since we've been married (36 yrs) tattooed on my foot.

as you can see on the elephant the paw prints are just made from 4 circles, one larger than the others........will this work for you?

Thanks EugeneClarence, I did see that one but when it is worked up it doesn't look much like a paw print. Ladycrochat, I will give that a try. I was trying to make it all in one piece but that might be the way I have to go. I'm going to try to do the graph one first to see how it turns out. I have to finish scrubbing the rug in here before I get to do any crochet!

I would wait to see what Cupcake comes up with. Have you seen her rugalug granny square patterns? They are awesome. If she comes up with a pattern, I'll have to buy it!
