Help for tired eyes

Hello! I mentioned this in my posts about a baby dress I am attempting, but just now noticed this area!

My mom said that when she is cross stitching with a very light thread on a white or very light canvas she uses 3.75 magnification reading glasses to help with seeing things. And her eyes don't get as tired!! Said it might help when crocheting with smaller hooks and stitches!

thanks kelly, that is a good :idea . my problem is that when i do wear my glasses, my eyes get tired as they are for distance, and since i am one of those people who hate bifocals this might work for me. will try my hubbys pair first as his isn't real strong.(reading glasses) maybe it will work who knows!!!!! have a great day vicki
