...here's a section of links on my site that will take you to a wide variety of starching tips if you like starching doilies and bookmarks and such. Several of the links provide lots of starching recipes and ways of applying the stuff. I don't think I've ever starched something, but there's always a first time.
Have fun! :bounce

Okay, okay. I'm really out of it. (Long day, you know.) You probably already realized (and I just did before I hit the add post button) that I forgot to give you the link!!! :oops

Oh, running across links doesn't require any great skill, it's requires time. Nowadays this is how I find a link:
I go to a crochet forum which takes me to a post about who-knows-what which takes me to a blog which takes me to another blog which takes me to a web-site that a. has a new pattern or b. is one that I've never seen before. :wink
Either that, or looking deep within the pages of Google and following crochet link pages.

Thanks for those links, Rachel! Here are a couple of really good ones you may want to add from the Thread Crochet and Snowflakes (http://home.teleport.com/~noelvn/snowflakes/) site.

Rachel ~~~ <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rofl.gif" /> I'm laughing over here.. about your link leading to a blog that leads to another blog where there might be instructions to ... hhahaha
Sounds like the random surfing I do sometimes. What a way to waste a good hour (or two or three).
Keep up the good work! We love your site<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/thumbsup.gif" />!!!

I laugh at myself. :lol Sometimes it is quite crazy how I end up finding something. Some days I find nothing and others days I find "everything". It's just the way it goes.

donna - i tried the shock therapy method from the lady from the 'snowflake' page.....
crochet something tinier than what you are going to do a project in, then the project won't seem so tiny.....
(i tried desperately to get a picture of this, but it just wasn't working)
had dinner at my mom's tonight and was going through her hooks - she doesn't crochet, but my gr-gr grandma.... and everyone else did. the hooks (all steel) have been passed down and someday they will be mine - anyhow - all the way to a size 14! crazy tiny!!!
so, i crocheted a 2 inch chain from my daughters hair!!!:eek
my dad was a little grossed out, but i was quite proud :yay2
TINY TINY TINY!!
