Here is an afghan that I made for my husband a while back. The colors are burgandy, navy and tan. He loves it and uses it all the time. Thank you for your nice comments everyone! Tipper, I did not use a pattern. This was my second thing that I learned to crochet a couple of years ago and I learned by copying one that my MIL make for my kids. You can find a simple granny square pattern through a google search though.

Great! He must really like it if he's using it. The colors chosen and the wide strips of each color do give it a more 'manly' look.
