Hello Crochetville!
I'm preparing an article for Crochet me about the experiences people have had learning how to crochet.
I would really love your help! Please email me your tales of learning how to crochet. Who taught you? How was your experience peppered, if at all, by your teacher? Did you find it easy/hard/confusing/boring/fascinating? Did it change your life? Did you put it down for 20 years before picking it up again? Have you, in turn, passed on the skill to anyone else?
It would seem that crochet is really picking up speed as far as its pop culture popularity goes, and I think lots of people will be deciding to take up the craft. Perhaps they'll be even more interested in doing so after reading about how other people have learned.
Please don't post your responses here, as I'll be putting together a whole article on it. I'll keep you posted on my progress, though!
Thanks in advance.
Kim
