waffle stitch

Hello everyone, I'm in a bit of bad luck. I was wondering if anyone could :help me with a pattern called the waffle stitch. :bangI've been looking for this pattern but have not yet found it.
Does anyone know a link or actually have the pattern ? Any :help would be very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch. :blush

I had thought this pattern was made with linked extended single crochet stitches but apparently there are many versions.
