Hi! My fiance and I just got a new digital camera as an engagement present. I really want to make a case for it. I am a beginner, and can usually handle patterns up to about "easy" level. Anyone have a good pattern for a camera case (or something that could be used as a camera case)? Preferably, this would be something he could use, too (so not too girly); but I'd like to see the girly ones, too. ;) Maybe I will make one for him and one for me! :lol
THANKS!

what about crocheting 2 squares or rectangles in sc or hdc the size of your camera, sew them together wrong side out flip it and crochet ties at the top and a wrist handle or neck strap. It wouldn't be hard to do and you could really make it as fancy or as plain as you like. If you wanted to do it in dc you could line it with felt so your new camera doesn't get dusty. You could use a contrasting color of felt so it could be seen, or a complimenting color so it blends in. :hook

You could even felt it to make it a bit more stable.... Personally... I am scared of felting:eek
