Hi all!

I recently finished crocheting this gorgeous thread poncho that I was trying desperately to have ready for my engagement party. It took me three solid weeks of crocheting - but it was definitely worth it!

I found the pattern on line from Crochet Pattern Central:

Thanks everyone - yes I love it too :)

It was a huge amount of work - much more than I was expecting (about 40 hours of frantic crocheting) but it looks lovely on. I'll upload a picture of me wearing it to my Flicker account a little later.

Gorgeous! Isn't it stunning in black? I've made...oh, let me see...at least four of them...and while they do take forever, the end result is worth it. :)

Wow!!!! I love your version! I made mine about 2 years ago using variegated thread with solid colored motifs.
