Hello Ladies!

I'm looking for some help! I'm looking for a hat pattern that is a little un-perfect. What I'm imagining is different yarns, different stitches, some "holes" almost between the stiches.....but I don't know how to accomplish this and make it hat shaped. I've been making double crochet hats lately but I want a funkier, bohemian look.

Here is a picture of one I kind of like :

Not on Lindsay Lohan but the friend with her. So, how do I accomplish the look of a ratty, dreddy hat.

Thanks SO much!!!

It has some gappy spots in it.

I want gappy but more in the style of a tam, I think. Cute hat, btw! Love that yarn!

Thanks! :)

This Rasta Tam might provide a basic platform from which to launch your ideas.
