Ok, so this isn't actually crocheted. I really wanted to show it off though, as I made it this morning and am pretty proud of it.

This rolls up small enough that I can cary it with me when I travel. JoAnn's had all sorts of fabric on sale and I couldn't resist. I'd been wanting to make one of these for months.
I didn't use an actual pattern, just some math in my head. There are a few changes I'd like to make for the next time I try this and a few little mistakes I'm not thrilled with, but I'm still very happy with the end result.

I've been toying with the idea of crocheting one of these myself. Perhaps a felted one? But I love yours, with the ribbons. Very nice. :yay

I thought about crocheting one too, but I wanted instant gratification. This only took me about an hour or so once I figured out what I was doing. I'm also afraid if I crocheted one that I'd loose my smaller hooks out the bottom, but I'm sure felting would solve that problem. I have minor skin reactions to pure feltable wool, so I haven't really tried it.
