I posted all those links because off hand I don't know of any blocks and it's just as easy for you to look through them all as it is for me. ;)
Secondly I posted them because you said you're looking for baby layettes and always looking for outfits, dresses, and afghans. So that gives you a pretty big list of places to look for those things.

You might have to take a pattern like this:

http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/cms-jugglingBalls.html

And just add your own letters. Either chain stitch them in or use the chart in the afghan already posted and crochet them as you go.
There might be some in a book someone knows about. :)

Here is a free pattern I found: http://www.bernat.com/home/Baby_Blocks.pdf I have only seen a knit version for free WITH the letters of the alphabet, but basically you can crochet any square you like (make 6) (there are lots of free alphabet square patterns) and join them to make a block. I've also seen a pattern where you crochet 2 rectangles - fold into thirds. The two end thirds fold up on one rectangle, down on the other and sew together forming a block. Hope that makes sense! :think

Other free baby crochet patterns: http://www.bernat.com/home/babyroom.html

There is a free knitting pattern on http://www.freepatterns.com/list.html?cat_id=368 .

There are several books with baby blocks to crochet if you want to purchase one - Lily/Bernat cotton has one and I've seen others. HTH.

There is a free knitting pattern on epatterncentral that shows a diagram explaining this. There are lots of alphabet square patterns for free you could use and then assemble.

:eek I forgot to ask for the ones with the letters on them, :eek ...:lol or the graph for them. I appreciate every one's help and thank you in advance.
I know, I can make my own but I forgot to mention that I decided to look for lettered blocks. I wanted the one's with crochet letter on the pattern, if any one has it and would be willing to share I would appreciate any pattern. If I can't find one with letters pattern. I am just going to make my own since I design dresses and other little things too but mostly blankets and dolls & doll dresses. I never took the time to learn how to make things with beads or letters yet. I think colored blocks will work good with out letters for now. Have a good night and weekend every one. Happy crocheting :hook :yarn Take care

Most patterns you will find will use graphs for the letters exactly like the knit pattern linked by Noahsmom.. Here are many charts that can be used on any block pattern.

here is a link to free ABC graphs, they might be too big for you though. They are about 36 stitches across. But you could crochet the squares and then sew together and stuff.
