Joanns.com is having a sale on Fun Fur.
Anyone used this? Is it hard to crochet? Does it make really good scarves? (Is it worth being hand wash!)

I've used it. I found it a little difficult to use at first because it's hard to see the stitches. You need to use your fingers to find them, but once you get used to that, it's not too bad. I haven't made a scarf with it yet, so I'm not sure how nice they come out, but the purses I've made with it came out really nice. They can be seen here (http://photobucket.com/albums/v53/Nay65/finished%20projects/?action=view¤t=purses.jpg).

Hey i just finished a project in that today!! :knit But i knitted it, it was a cover for my little sister's shifter knob thingy in her car. I was really suprised at how easy it was to work with, i guess i anticipated it being difficult but actually it was very relaxing. I think though it may be easier to crochet with if you carry it along with a sport weight or worsted yarn depending on your pattern. That will help you to see the stitches better. :)

I've found that using an N hook makes crocheting with it quite easy.
:clap I've only used it for scrunchies, but they come out really cute and furry. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I noticed that AC Moore and Michaels had some new colors, but I was in a Walmart about a month ago and they had a few colors I have never seen before or since. They were really pretty.
