I went to my local JoAnn's today to browse for some new pattern books, even though I really had no intention of buying anything. Especially no more yarn! Let me tell you, ladies, I had a hard time putting some yarn back!!!!

JoAnn's now has their own exclusive brand of yarn! It's beautiful!!! The label is Sensations and it comes in four different styles, although the names escape me right now. The one that I absolutely fell in love with is a mohair-type. The colors are just lovely, very bright and jewel-like. They also have an eyelash, and a bulkier yarn that is very interesting, and a ribbon yarn. I asked one of the sales clerks about it, and she said that it just came in last week. I can't wait for this stuff to go on sale! Like everything else at JoAnn's it's a bit pricey, $6.00 for a skein of the mohair. They have a pattern book out just for this yarn, published by Leisure Arts. I grabbed one of those, plus two more pattern books. So much for not buying anything...

I so want to get my hands on some of this stuff! <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/cloud9.gif" />

Hmmm... very interesting! :)) I searched around online but don't find it yet. I'm hoping to get to Joanns sometime in the next week. Now I'm really excited!

I saw the new yarn today while purchasing fairy fabric. It's lovely. :)h I suffered through the pangs of YAS and walked away empty handed. :cry

I loved the colors and textures of this new yarn. I left it there. But I whispered to it before I walked away. I promised I'd be back. :))

<img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rofl.gif" /> Deb!!

I was the same way. I headed over to JA to get some Simplicity patterns since the one here had them for 5/$5, and I went over and told the yarn hello, and that I couldn't take it home with me today, but I would give it a nice home in a few weeks. I knew that I had to run over to HL to buy some Sugar N Cream for a poncho for my daughter, and since it was $0.88 a ball on sale, I figured I had better pick it up now. Especially since I knew I would need 6 balls for the project...

I got to touch the Sensations Angel Hair today. Kind of like Patons Divine, but with a yarn base that is more like chenille than twisted yarn. Really soft and plush feeling. :)h

i just went there today and felt the Angel hair.... OH MY GOSH does it feel nice. It's SOOOO soft! I have to get some if it goes on sale. (Other than that our joanns has a very poor selection of yarn, so does Michaels lately! No one has Red Heart Tweed!)
