Um, yes it is Lion Brand Catalina. Made in Italy. It is probably old and not made anymore. This was in a bag given to me. Thanks anyway!

I searched for both 'lion brand catalina yarn' and 'catalina yarn'. No luck on either. :ohdear Looks like you've got a treasure there! :D!
